It's really difficult to price family tree work as there are so many variables, but as a rough rule of thumb, I need 2 hours per person researched.
For example, say this was a gift for your parent. They might know about their parents' lives, but want to know about their grandparents. Within 8 hours research (£176), I could usually complete full stories on each of their 4 grandparents' lives, and some details about the grandparents' parents too.
Within a further 16 hours (so 24 hours in total, £528), I should be able to complete eight more stories on their great-grandparents, and have names and some details on them too.
Included in the document is the original records that were used to build their stories (where copyright allows), and a tree of all direct ancestors. I can also add any family photos in that you have.
Work is charged at an hourly rate of £22 an hour, and printing costs are listed below. Payment in installments can be arranged.
